Gravel Bike Tyre with PureGrip Compound

Based on activated silica compounds, this technology was originally intended as a performance level compound, but after intensive development at Continental’s German R&D facility, an advanced new compound with outstanding grip, elasticity and rolling properties was developed. This new mix was given the self-explanatory name “Pure Grip”, ranked just behind the brand’s BlackChili compound and will be used in its updated performance products both in road and MTB sectors.

Whilst providing great grip, it is also long-lasting and highly durable, which are both regarded as ongoing characteristics of Continental tyres.

ShieldWall System Puncture Protection

The ShieldWall system combines the optimal combination of high puncture protection and the best smooth running properties with low weight. This is made possible by an additional, all-round puncture protection layer consisting of a finely woven cross fabric. This gives the tyre a high resistance to punctures and injuries. Despite the additional layer, the tyre has very good damping properties and has high flexibility to adapt perfectly to the ground. The revolutionary tubeless-ready base also allows for easy and uncomplicated mounting of the tyre.

Tubeless Ready
